Laughter is good for the body, the soul and the community, and the comic spirit can be a vehicle for self-transcendence. There is so much to be serious about—the sorry state of politics, the urgent needs of the world, our personal troubles, losses and worries. This Sunday, let’s put our concerns aside for a moment, explore the comic spirit, and usher in the month of April with a bit of mirth.
