Taking a Good Look

This multigenerational service invites us to do the spiritual work of letting go, using Buddhist precepts to help us learn to move through difficult times, and to learn to acknowledge what is. We’ll participate in the ritual of burning off something we’d like to let go and see where that might lead us. Come, join in this fiery New Year’s celebration!

The meaning of the word “conservative” seems to have changed through the years.  Whether it has evolved or devolved is a matter of opinion.  But change it has, and when evaluating politicians, parties and issues, it’s important to understand the roots of the word, what it means and what it doesn’t.

The Orchards Regenerate and So Do the Dead

Join us for an all ages congregational gathering of remembering the dead. El Dia de los Muertos is playful, yet honest. We too, are open to coming close to our own living as we visit those who have gone before. We’ll have an altar, so bring a photo or memento to place on it.
