Psychiatrist D. W. Winnicott writes that we often go about our lives with an attitude of compliance, as though the world is something to be fitted in with, demanding adaptation. The attitude of compliance tells us to put our dreams away in the back of the bottom drawer of the chest of drawers. But our dreams are part of creative living, Winnicott says, which makes life worthwhile. On this Sunday, we stand up for the world of dreams and for pulling dreams through into reality as a source of creativity, aliveness, and self-actualization.

Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots which gave rise to the Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer/2Spirit Liberation Movements. Hear testimonies from Wayne Bennion, Anne Harader, Frank Howell & Rev. Dr. María Cristina Vlassidis Burgoa.

Religious Education Sunday - Join us as we celebrate another year of accomplishments by our RE children/youth and honor our RE teacher volunteers. We will dedicate two children, Lilly and Ollie, and celebrate entering Middle School for Hank and coming of age for Cara.

Mother’s Day can be an opportunity for recognizing the diversity of family structures. Some children have a mother and a father, others may have two moms, two dads, a single mom or dad, grandparents raising them, divorced parents or a whole range of other family configurations.  Inclusive celebrations can serve as an important learning experience by providing opportunities to discuss and acknowledge the many kinds of families in our communities.

What role has curiosity played in your life, and specifically in your spiritual journeys? How can curiosity be an agent of change in the way we communicate and connect with each other? Join us as we explore together the unexpected gifts of curiosity.
